Casey Greene – Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet

Australian born, Casey Greene has been playing his music throughout the UK since 2004. As well as the Casey Greene Latin Four, he leads his other bands – Quiver, Casey Greene Quartet and Sextet. He is also an active music teacher, composer, arranger and conductor. His playing has taken him to many destinations including Australia, USA, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, New Zealand and the Middle East.

Andrzej Baranek – Piano

Andrzej Baranek is a highly regarded jazz pianist on the Manchester jazz scene.  Born in 1982, Andrzej has worked with an impressive array of artists, including Alan Barnes , Scott Hamilton and Jimmy Bosch.  Aside from Mojito , Andrzej is also busy with the Shakedown jazz band and the Magic Hat Ensemble.

Peter Turner – Bass

Nick Blacka plays double bass with the top jazz outfit “The Magic Hat Ensemble” and is one of the first call bassists for touring leading jazz soloists visiting the North West. Regular appearances alongside names from the UK Jazz scene, including Alan Barnes, Dave O’Higgins, Ben Clatworthy, Iain Dixon, Neil Yates, Stuart McCallum…

Simon King – Drums

Simon played with many influential jazz musicians, including Randy Brecker, Jonny King, Pete King, Tim Garland, Alan Barnes, Jim Mullen and Norma Winstone. Simon has also recently appeared with pop singer Jane McDonald. He won the Musician’s Union Outstanding Musician Prize in 2003 and 2005, was a finalist in the 2001 Perrier Young Jazz Awards and has performed his own works on BBC Radio 2.

He completed Post Graduate studies after graduating with a 1st class honours degree from Leeds College of Music.
